The GM-free Ireland Network (GMFI) is a rapidly growing association of individuals and organisations collaborating to keep the whole island of Ireland free of genetically modified (GM) animal feed, seeds, trees, crops, livestock, fish and food. These products are rejected by the majority of food brands, retailers and consumers, and prohibited by 100 regions and 3,500 local authorities in 22 EU countries. But the Irish Government has never voted against them in the EU Parliament and is now trying to ensure their "co-existence" on this island.
